Entry formalities
The French must be in possession of a valid passport at least 3 months after the return. For Belgians, Swiss and Canadians, this duration extends to 6 months. In any case, the passport must have at least one blank page, and the visa is obligatory.
To obtain the visa, it is necessary to present:
- A completed visa application form;
- A passport valid for at least 6 months, with at least 2 consecutive blank pages, and a copy of the page with the photo;
- 2 identical and recent identity photographs, of the size of the passport;
- A copy of the round-trip airfare;
- a hotel reservation;
- Travel insurance;
- If you are staying for more than a month in Mozambique: proof of credit;
- If you enter Mozambique Overland: Travel details and entry modalities;
- For minors: a copy of the birth certificate or family booklet, and a travel authorization signed by the parents, indicating whether the child travels alone or accompanied by one of his or her parents or 2.

Health
-Attention: In the spring of 2018, an epidemic of meningitis is spreading in Africa. For now, Mozambique is not affected, but be careful, especially if you stay there for more than 30 days and/or you are considering close contact with the population. Quadrivalent anti-meningococcal conjugate vaccine is recommended.
-It is recommended to be updated on its universal vaccinations (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, poliomyelitis, HépatiteB).
-Vaccines against Hepatitis A and typhoid are also recommended, possibly those against rabies and meningococcal A and C.
-antimalarial treatment is strongly recommended. Malaria is present all year round throughout the country.
